Composition and features
- Silicone adhesive layer: gentle on peri-wound skin and provides secure, comfortable adhesion. Can be removed and reapplied without irritating the surrounding skin, helping make dressing changes easier and less painful.
- Foam layer: high capacity to absorb and retain moderate to heavy exudate, helping to reduce leakage and protect intact skin.
- Hydrofiber (hydrocolloid) gelling layer: interacts with wound exudate to form a soft, cohesive gel that maintains a moist environment and helps prevent the dressing from sticking to the wound, reducing pain on removal.
